In today’s issue, they talk about Five Fundamentals To Great Email Marketing In 2011. They include:

  1. It’s the experience, not the product/service or other values.
  2. Targeting at scale is the key to great contextual marketing.
  3. M-Email (Mobile marketing and it’s relationship to email marketing)
  4. The dashboard is only so big; make the best use of it.
  5. Artificial intelligence is exactly that – artificial.

What I find most valuable to remember is from Item #3 – Mobile and Email can be intrinsically related.  When you use the MobiPro solution in the comF5 suite, you can seemlessly integrate your text message campaigns so when someone texts in, comF5 signs them up right into your email database.  And when someone signs up via text message you can set up an autoresponder to send specifically targeted and designed HTML emails to those folks.

Imagine this in a Real Estate Broker example:

Step One:  A potential buyer drives by a property and sees the for sale sign.  Instead of having an expensive brochure in a “take one” box – there is a message to text “REALESTATEPUNCH” and their “EMAIL ADDRESS” to “69302”.

Once they text the information they receive:

Step Two: A text message that gives a short description of the property and a message to check their inbox for an email with pictures (or even a video).

Step Three: When they texted in, their email was automatically entered into your email database and an automatic email of a predesigned HTML email with a video, pictures and detailed info on the property was sent.

All of this is easily accomplished with the comF5 convergence marketing suite.  Contact us to find out more!  We’re here to help!
