Barnes & Noble Releases 2012 College Marketing Report

One might assume the best way to reach college students would be via Tweet, Faceboot or Text… but according to the B&N report, those assumptions are dead wrong.

42% consider TV as most effective advertising; while EMAIL is the best way to reach them!

Other highlights from the proprietary survey include:

  • Students prefer to receive emails over texts from marketers;
  • their engagement with brands on Facebook tops all other social networks;
  • and most are very open to direct brand engagement, including supporting on-campus ambassador programs.
