How has running a small business changed compared to five years ago?

In honor of National Small Business Week, Constant Contact surveyed 917 small business participants of their Small Biz Council.

Not surprisingly most folks (59%) think it is harder to run a business now compared to 5 years ago; but the main concerns remain the same:

1. FINDING NEW CUSTOMERS – (78% then – 75% now)
2. LOW ON TIME – (61% then – 65% now)
3. KEEPING CUSTOMER – (49% then – 58% now)
