This seminar will teach you the time-saving tips, techniques, and yes, even apps that will help your content – and the way you share it – succeed! You’ll learn how to:

We’ll cover tidbits like how many links create the most engagement, how to turn questions into high-open subject lines, tips on using graphics, pictures and videos, re-purposing content across multiple platforms, and more. And, we’ll give you the structure and tools to make creating your content fast, easy and effective.
Hands On WordPress Workshop (Noon to 3pm)
The second session is a 3 hour paid bootcamp ($139) and will cover how to use and build a website on WordPress (includes 2 weeks of free access to our www.doityourselfwpwebsites.com training website)

VERY IMPORTANT NOTES:
Participants should bring a working laptop with wireless Internet connection and have a current/up to date browser and OS. You must be familiar with your laptop and how to access the Internet using your laptop’s wireless connection. Laptops are required. Tablets and iPads should not be used. No time will be spent to troubleshoot laptop issues. Due to the limited length of the workshop we will not cover any programming nor will we set up accounts.
Refund policy: Attendance to this bootcamp is by paid admission only, and is specifically associated with this date and venue. Registration/payment for this bootcamp cannot be transferred, traded, substituted or refunded. Once you have registered and paid for this bootcamp, NO refunds will be issued. Registrants for this bootcamp that subsequently can not attend the paid event, for whatever reason, will not have the cost of the event refunded, traded, and or credited. Your paid admission will simply be forfeited if you can not attend.

The Ventura County Chapter of SCORE, a non-profit (501C) organization was founded in 1971 as Chapter 255. We have been an active chapter since that time and currently have more than 40 volunteers. The counselors of SCORE Ventura County are active and retired successful business owners and managers. Our counselors volunteer their experience and knowledge to help established business owners and potential business owners achieve success.
Ventura County Chapter 255 was selected as the “Outstanding Chapter”in the Los Angeles District for 2002 and 2010.
Client service is the objective of SCORE Ventura County. Our volunteer business counselors are dedicated to providing the best possible services via face-to-face counseling, business mentoring or online Email counseling, all at no charge to the client. The counselors of SCORE Ventura County are capable and willing to aid in the success of all small businesses throughout the County and Malibu. We counsel face to face at most Chamber of Commerce’s by appointment. Many counselors go on-site to help businesses as well.
SCORE Ventura County’s list of business success stories include Kinko’s, a data management/copy company that grew from two entrepreneurs to more than 40,000 employees worldwide and is now owned by FED-EX. Another success story is “Heads above the Rest”, a tall women’s fashion company that was selected as women owned business of the year in 1996.
We have numerous other success stories from the 1,000 clients we counsel each year and the hundreds we help through our on-going workshop Entrepreneur Series held in the spring, summer and fall.
